Town Hall Thoughts
School is officially out; please be mindful of children playing outside.
As of May 26, 2021 the Splash Pad will be open 7 days a week.
The next Community Crossing Project involving 200 S, Vine Street, 10th Street, Brookside Road, Ash Way, Briar Drive, and 500 S is expected to begin construction in July.
We were told by multiple people last month that they did not receive their utility bill. The bills always go out the first of each month unless otherwise posted by Town Hall. If you do not receive your bill by the second week of the month please call us, or look online using only your last name as it appears on your bill and your account number. Not receiving a bill does not excuse late fees.
Lapel Utility Department is hiring for a full-time utility laborer starting at $15/hour, and two part-time seasonal laborer starting at $11/hour. Please stop by Lapel Town Hall to pick up an application.
If you would like to be put on the agenda for a Town Council meeting or a Planning Commission meeting please contact Lapel Town Hall at least 48 hours prior to the meeting. You may call (765)534-3157 or email info@lapelindiana.org.
